Brief Info: A new recruitment notification from the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has come. UPSC has released the notification of  National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination 2024. National Defense Academy has been called into three branches, like Army, Navy, Air Force, and Naval Academy. Interested candidates can apply online. You have to apply through the official website of UPSC and before applying you have to check yourself whether you are eligible. Eligibility

Age Limit

• candidates born not earlier than  2nd January 2006 and not later than 1st January 2009 are eligible.

UPSC NDA Physical Standard

NDA Army

• The height requirement for female candidates to join the NDA Army is 152 cm.
• 150 cm height is sufficient for candidates below 18 years.
• In the case of a flying branch, the height should be 163 cm.

NDA Navy

• Men must be 157 cm tall to apply for the Navy
• The minimum height required for women to apply for the Navy is 152 cm.

NDA Air Force

• The minimum height for men to apply for the flying branch of the Air Force is 162.5 cm.
• The minimum height for men to apply for the ground duty branch of the Air Force is 157.5 cm.
• 162.5 cm is the minimum height for women to apply for flying branches in the Air Force.
• 152 cm height for women to apply for ground duty branches in the Air Force

Selection Process:

Here are the details of how the NDA selection is done, first is the Written examination. The return examination will carry 300 marks for Mathematics and 600 marks for General Ability and so on for a total of 900 marks in the return examination. After that selected candidates will have an SSB test or interview which will have 900 marks. All papers of written examination will be objective questions.
