Equivalence of Online Degree

“Degree/Diploma Certificate awarded after successful completion of study through online mode under CDOE shall be treated as equivalent to the corresponding Degree/Diploma awarded through the conventional mode of the University.”

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the BA (Honours) programmes must meet the following criteria :

General Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
• Candidates must possess the certificate with “Eligible for Higher Studies” .

Special Provisions

• Candidates possessing a certificate with “Eligible for Higher Studies” issued by the Kerala State Literacy Mission Authority are also eligible for Humanities and Commerce programmes .
• The Afsal-Ul-Ulama preliminary course conducted by the University of Calicut is equivalent to the Plus Two Course in Humanities of the Higher Secondary Board, Government of Kerala .
• Foreign Students: Admission will be provisional. Confirmation will be granted only after the verification of qualifying certificates by an expert committee constituted by the University .
