• For Technical Assistant Gr. II (Jr. Electronics Technician): Candidates should have a 3-year Diploma in ECE with 10 years of experience, OR a B.E./B.Tech in ECE with 5 years of experience.
• For Technical Assistant Gr. II (Graphic Assistant): Applicants require a Diploma in Fine Arts/Commercial Arts with 10 years of experience, OR a B.Tech/B.E in Graphics/Visual Design with 5 years of experience.
• For Junior Secretariat Assistant (Hindi Typist): The minimum qualification is 10+2 (12th standard) with a typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi. Graduation is desirable.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The age limit is calculated as of the last date of online application (13 March 2026).

• MTS, TA Gr. II, and JSA: Maximum 35 years.
• Technical Assistant Gr. I: Maximum 40 years.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen will get relaxation as per Government of India norms.

Salary and Benefits (7th Pay Commission)

Selected candidates will receive a salary based on the 7th Central Pay Commission. Apart from the basic pay, employees are eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other perks like medical facilities and Leave Travel Concession (LTC).

The approximate in-hand salary, including allowances, ranges from ₹25,000 for MTS to ₹65,000 for Technical Assistant Gr. I.

Selection Process for NITTTR 2026
