Eligibility Criteria
You need to have passed Matriculation with at least 50% marks. Plus, you must have completed your ITI Examination (Provisional National Trade Certificate is acceptable) in the relevant trade with an overall score of 65%.

Age Limit
The upper age limit is set at 21 years. But don’t worry! There are some relaxations: you get an extra 5 years if you’re SC/ST and 3 years if you’re OBC.
Selection Process
To get selected, it all starts with a preliminary selection based on your Matric and ITI exam marks. If you’re on the preliminary merit list, you’ll take a written test. This exam will be objective type and cover Mathematics (20 questions), General Science (20 questions), and General Knowledge (10 questions). Each question is worth 1.5 marks, and you have an hour to finish it. Good news – there’s no negative marking!

How can you apply? Just mail your application through General Post only! Send it to “The Admiral Superintendent (for Officer-in-Charge), Apprentices Training School, Naval Ship Repair Yard, Naval Base, Kochi – 682004”. Make sure it arrives by September 16, 2024.
