IRCON Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 13 Works Engineer (Civil/Electrical/S&T) Posts

IRCON International Limited, a prestigious Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Railways, has released the IRCON Recruitment 2026 notification for the engagement of Works Engineers on a contract basis. IRCON Vacancy Details 2026 (Post-Wise)

Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

For Works Engineer (Civil):

• Full-time Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE/UGC.

For Works Engineer (Electrical):

• Full-time Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE/UGC.

For Works Engineer (S&T – Signal & Telecommunication):

• Full-time Graduate Degree in Engineering/Technology with minimum 60% marks in any of the following specializations:
  1. Electronics Engineering
  2. Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  3. Electronics & Communication Engineering
  4. Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

Experience Required (As on 1 February 2026)

• For all posts: Minimum One year of post-qualification experience in relevant construction works.
• Preference: For the Civil post, candidates having experience in building works will be given preference.
• For the S&T post, experience in areas of Electronic Interlocking / Relay Interlocking / Automatic Signaling / Telecom Works / Kavach is required.

Age Limit (As on 1 February 2026)

• Maximum Age: 30 Years.
• Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates will be applicable as per Government of India/IRCON rules.

Salary / Stipend

Selected candidates will be engaged on a contract basis and will receive a Fixed Consolidated Pay of Rs. 36,000/- per month. (No other allowances or perks are mentioned as it is a fixed consolidated amount for the contract period).

• Selection will be based on the scrutiny of applications and academic qualifications, followed by an interview (or further shortlisting, if necessary) of eligible candidates.
