Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Indian Air Force Agniveer Recruitment, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
Age Limit:
Candidates born between January 1, 2005 and July 1, 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.
Upper Age Limit: 21 years at the time of enrolment.
Marital Status and Pregnancy:
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible.
- Female candidates should not get married or become pregnant during the engagement period.
Educational Qualification:
For Science Subjects:
- 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English, OR
- Three-year Diploma in Engineering (relevant fields) with 50% marks, OR
- Two-year vocational course with Physics and Mathematics with 50% marks.
Except Science Subjects:
- 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English, OR
- Two-year vocational course with 50% marks.
Selection Process:
The selection process for the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu includes the following phases:
Phase I: Online Test
- For Science Subjects: 60 minutes (Physics, Mathematics, English).
- For Other than Science Subjects: 45 minutes (English, Reasoning, General Awareness).
- For Both Science and Other Streams: 85 minutes (Physics, Mathematics, English, Reasoning, General Awareness).
Phase II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Male Candidates: 1.6 km run in 7 minutes, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats.
- Female Candidates: 1.6 km run in 8 minutes, 10 sit-ups, and 15 squats.
Phase III: Medical Examination
- Baseline investigations, including chest X-ray, ECG, and blood tests.
Pay, Allowances, and Benefits
The Agniveer Vayu will receive the following monthly salary and benefits during the engagement period:
