The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Thiruvananthapuram, an Institute of National Importance, has released a recruitment notification for filling up 15 Non-Teaching positions across various administrative, technical, and support cadres. Essential Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria as on 05th January 2026.

1. Educational Qualification & Experience (Key Posts)

• Deputy Registrar: Master’s Degree (55% marks) + 5 years experience as Assistant Registrar in Pay Level 10 or equivalent.
• Executive Engineer (Civil): First Class B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engg + 10 years experience as Assistant Engineer (Level 7) or 5 years as Assistant Executive Engineer (Level 10).
• Principal Technical Officer: B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc/BS-MS (First Class) + 5 years relevant experience in Pay Level 11.
• Veterinarian: B.V.Sc (8 yrs exp) OR M.V.Sc (5 yrs exp) in handling experimental/transgenic animals.
• Nurse: M.Sc Nursing (50%) OR First Class B.Sc Nursing (4-year) + Registration + 3 years clinical experience in a 50+ bed hospital.
• Superintendent: Master’s Degree (50%) OR First Class Bachelor’s Degree. 5 years experience in Pay Level 5 or equivalent in administration/finance.

2. Age Limit (Maximum as on 05-01-2026)

Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Based on qualifications and experience.
2. Written Test / Interview: The exact mode (Written Test and/or Interview) will be decided by the Institute and communicated to shortlisted candidates.
3. Document Verification: Mandatory production of original certificates.

The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the IISER TVM website. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.

• For Group A Posts (Sl. No. 1 to 7): ₹1000
• For Group B & C Posts (Sl. No. 8 to 14): ₹500
• Fee Exemption: SC, ST, PwBD, Women, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted (Proof must be uploaded).
• Payment Mode: Online via SBI Payment Gateway (UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card).

How to Apply Online for IISER TVM Recruitment 2026?

The application is a two-step process: Online submission followed by sending a Hard Copy.

Step 1: Online Application (by 05 Jan 2026, 5:00 PM)

1. Visit Website: Go to the IISER TVM official website and navigate to the ‘Openings’ or Careers section.
2. Register: Click on the relevant advertisement and complete the registration to generate a User ID and Password.
3. Fill Form: Log in and fill the 6-stage online application form carefully. You can save and edit before final submission.
4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, educational certificates, experience certificates, caste/PwBD/Ex-SM certificate (if applicable).
5. Pay Fee: Proceed to pay the application fee online (if applicable). Do not refresh or press back during payment.
6. Final Submit: After successful payment, submit the form. Download and print the final submitted application form.

Step 2: Send Hard Copy (by 12 Jan 2026, 5:00 PM)

1. Prepare Package: Take a printout of the final submitted application. Sign it.
2. Attach Documents: Attach self-attested copies of all certificates (Education, Experience, Age, Caste, etc.).
3. Government Employees: Must attach No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Vigilance Clearance Certificate (VCC) from their employer.
4. Post Separately: If applying for more than one post, send separate envelopes for each application.
5. Address & Superscription: Send via Registered/Speed Post in an envelope super-scribed with:
