Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications range from Matriculation to specialized Technical Degrees/Diplomas depending entirely on the cadre profile.
Educational & Technical Qualifications
- MTS (Office & Training): Matriculation (10th Class pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th Class pass + a proven typing speed of 35 words per minute (WPM) in English or 30 WPM in Hindi on a computer.
- Civilian Motor Driver (CMD): 12th Class pass + possession of a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License + minimum 2 years of active heavy vehicle driving experience.
- Stenographer Grade II: 12th Class pass + Dictation skill of 80 WPM for 10 minutes + Transcription target of 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi) on a computer.
- Technical Attendant (Printing): ITI Pass Certificate in Printing Machine Operation OR Matriculation with 1 year of hands-on experience in a printing unit.
- Supervisor (Networking): B.E./B.Tech or MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science/IT + 2 years of active network and server management experience.
- Network / Hardware Administrator: 12th Class pass + relevant core Diplomas/Certifications (like CCNA, CCNP, or VLSI) + 2 years of domain experience.
- Lineman / Boat Builder: 12th Class pass coupled with explicit technical trade experience or a National Apprenticeship Certificate in the respective domain.
Age Limit (As of 13 June 2026)
- MTS & Technical Attendant: 18 to 25 Years
- All Other Post Profiles: 18 to 27 Years
Upper Age Relaxation Limits:
- OBC Candidates: Up to +3 years relaxation.
- SC / ST Candidates: Up to +5 years relaxation.
- PwBD Candidates: Up to +10 years relaxation (varies up to 15 years depending on reservation category).
- Central Govt. Employees: Up to 40 years of age (45 years for SC/ST) for individuals with 3 years of continuous service.
- Note: Reserved category candidates applying explicitly against Unreserved (UR) seats will not be granted any relaxation in the age criteria.
