The three Field Engineer vacancies are in Logistics, Port Operations and Transportation, with one vacancy in each area. The cut-off date for calculating age and experience is 1 August 2026.
Assistant Manager (Projects) – Eligibility
Candidates must have B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a reputed institution/university, along with a full-time MBA/PGDM in Operations Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or Port & Shipping Management.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in large infrastructure projects. Relevant exposure in ports, shipping, logistics, multimodal transport, container terminals, warehousing, maritime infrastructure and related infrastructure activities is desirable.
Communication Executive – Eligibility
Candidates should have either a Post Graduation in Communications/Journalism or a Graduation with Post Graduate Diploma in Communication/Journalism.
Applicants should have strong proficiency in computer operations, writing and editing, along with a good understanding of social media platforms. Preference is given to candidates who are web-savvy and proficient in web publishing and digital design software.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in media relations or public relations.
Field Engineer – Eligibility
Candidates must possess a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/institution. In addition, candidates should have either an M.Tech in Transportation Engineering or a full-time MBA/PGDM in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Port & Shipping Management, or Operations Management.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in large infrastructure projects is desirable. Experience in ports, shipping, logistics, maritime infrastructure, supply chain, freight forwarding, container terminal operations, warehousing or multimodal transportation is also desirable.
Age Relaxation
Age relaxation is available as per Government rules. SC/ST candidates are eligible for 5 years of relaxation and OBC candidates are eligible for 3 years of relaxation, subject to production of the prescribed valid certificates.

CMD/VISL reserves the right to decide the selection process depending on recruitment requirements.
