Educational Qualification
Navik (General Duty)
Candidate should have passed Class 12th with Mathematics and Physics from an education board recognised by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Navik (Domestic Branch)
Candidate should have passed Class 10th from a COBSE-recognised education board.
Yantrik – Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics
Candidate should have passed Class 10th and possess an AICTE-approved 3-year or 4-year Diploma in the relevant Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering discipline; alternatively, candidates with Class 10th and Class 12th plus an AICTE-approved 2-year or 3-year relevant Diploma may also be eligible according to the notified discipline mapping.
Hygienist-I
Candidate should possess Matriculation / Class 10th or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) qualification or equivalent from a Board of Education recognised by the Central or State Government.

- Stage-III: Document Verification and Pre-Enrolment Medical Examination at INS Chilka
- Stage-IV: Verification / authentication of original documents with the issuing Boards, Universities or State Government authorities
