India Post GDS Result 2026 Kerala Merit List
Candidates from Kerala should select the Kerala Postal Circle after the 2026 Schedule-II results are published. The Kerala GDS merit list is expected to be available through the same official result portal as other circles. There is no verified Kerala result PDF to link in this article yet. Do not confuse the January 2026 recruitment merit lists with the July 2026 Schedule-II selection process.
How Is the GDS Merit List Prepared?
Initial shortlisting for Gramin Dak Sevak posts is based on candidates’ Class 10 / Secondary School examination marks, calculated in accordance with the official rules. There is no separate written test. The outcome also depends on the notified vacancies and applicable selection and reservation conditions. A high Class 10 percentage alone does not guarantee shortlisting.
GDS cut-off marks 2026: India Post has not announced a verified Schedule-II 2026 cut-off in the official result publication at the time of this update. Any state-wise or category-wise marks shared before release should be considered speculative.
What Happens After the GDS First Merit List 2026?
Applicants named in the first merit list are provisionally shortlisted; it is not an automatic final engagement. They must follow the department’s instructions for physical document verification and eligibility checks. Keep the Class 10 certificate/marksheet, photo ID, category or reservation certificates (where relevant) and other documents required by your official notice ready. Check the published communication for the exact verification location, deadline and list of originals/copies.
If your name does not appear in the first list, follow the official portal for possible subsequent lists. Further lists, if issued, depend on the recruitment process and unfilled positions; they should not be assumed in advance.
