Federal Bank has announced its recruitment drive for the year 2026, inviting applications for the post of Office Assistant. The recruitment is for branches/offices located in the following states and union territories: Assam, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

Important: The place of domicile of the candidate should be located in the same district of the notified branch/office OR within 20 kilometres from it.

Detailed Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil all the following conditions as on 1st December 2025.

1. Educational Qualification

• Mandatory: Must have passed the 10th Standard or equivalent examination.
• Crucial Condition: Must NOT have passed Graduation.
• Skill Requirement: Adequate knowledge in Microsoft Office. Must have undergone at least a one-month (basic/foundation) training program in Microsoft Office. The certificate for this training must be produced prior to the Personal Interview.
• Desirable: Possession of a valid Driving License issued in India.

2. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 20 Years
• Date of Birth Range: Candidates must be born between 01.12.2005 and 01.12.2007 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation (Up to 5 years):

Upper age relaxation up to a maximum of 5 years is applicable for:

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
• Candidates who have previously served or are serving in any Branch/Office of Federal Bank as a temporary Office Assistant/Bankman, Driver, or Caretaker, and who have been empanelled by the Bank on or before 01.12.2025.

For these categories, the Date of Birth should be between 01.12.2000 and 01.12.2007.

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed in the following pay scale with a host of benefits:

• Starting Basic Pay: ₹19,500
• Pay Scale: ₹19,500-665/4-22,160-830/5-26,310-990/4-30,270-1,170/3-33,780-1,345/3- ₹37,815 plus 11 stagnation increments.
• National Pension Scheme (NPS): Coverage under NPS.
• Gratuity: As per bank rules.
• Medical Insurance: Coverage for self and dependents.
• Concessional Loans: Available as per bank’s policy.
• Other Benefits: As per the bank’s rules from time to time.

Selection Process

The selection will be a two-stage process:

1. Centre Based Online Aptitude Test: Conducted by IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection).
   • Pattern: 60 Objective Questions | 60 Minutes | No Negative Marking.
   • Sections: Computer Knowledge (15), English (15), Logical Reasoning (15), Mathematics (15).
   • Language: English only.
2. Personal Interview: Candidates shortlisted from the Online Test will be called for a Personal Interview at various centres.

Note: Every stage is an elimination stage. The bank reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on administrative requirements.
