Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• For Post Code M-01: Must have passed 10th Standard/Matriculation from a recognized board.
• For Post Codes M-02 to M-07: Must have passed ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.

2. Age Limit (as on 06.02.2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 25 Years
• Age Relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • PwBD (UR): 10 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years
  • Ex-Servicemen / Others: As per rules.

Application Fee

• Payment Mode: Online via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
• The fee is non-refundable.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-1 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), with a pay scale of ₹18,000 – ₹56,900. In addition to basic pay, they will be entitled to various allowances such as:

• Dearness Allowance (DA)
• House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Transport Allowance
• Other benefits as per CSIR rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be based solely on a Computer Based Competitive Written Examination.

Exam Pattern:

• Type: Objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Duration: 2 Hours (2 Hours 40 minutes for PwBD candidates using a scribe)
• Medium: English & Hindi (except English Language section)
• Negative Marking: Applicable (1/4th mark deduction for each wrong answer).
