How to use the signature resizer
- Choose a clear image of your signature. A plain, evenly lit background makes cleanup easier.
- Crop unnecessary space around the signature and apply the crop.
- Enter your form’s width, height and maximum file size. The starting 300 × 100 pixels is only an example.
- Create the preview, check that every stroke remains readable and download the result.
Resize a signature for an application form
Use the dimensions, format and size limit listed by the form you are completing. Requirements vary; the example settings are not an official specification. Padding can preserve the signature’s shape inside an exact output box. Avoid stretching if it changes the appearance of your signature.
Can I make a signature smaller than 20 KB?
Enter 20 as the maximum and select the size unit required by your form. JPG compression may meet the limit, depending on the image and dimensions. It is not guaranteed. If the limit cannot be met, the result is clearly marked over limit. Reduce the dimensions only when your form permits it.
Your image and your privacy
Image editing runs in your browser. Usage counters send small event requests to this website without image content. Optional AI background removal downloads model assets from IMG.LY, which receives ordinary network metadata. The image itself is not uploaded by this editor.
Use a modern browser. Input is limited to 20 MB, 16 million pixels and 8000 pixels on either side. On phones, mobile-friendly editing reduces large inputs to at most 1600 pixels on the longest side and two million pixels. Check the result against the destination’s own rules; no tool can guarantee an application will accept it.
