  • Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation) – Codes 204, 205, 206: 3-year Diploma in relevant engineering with min. 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • Junior Quality Control Analyst – Code 207: B.Sc. with Maths, Physics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry with min. 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety) – Code 208: 10+2 with Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC + Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.

2. Age Limit (as on 31st December 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age for General/EWS: 26 Years

    • OBC (NCL): 3 Years
    • SC/ST: 5 Years
    • PwBD (General): 10 Years (for identified posts)

Selection Process: Two Crucial Stages

The selection is rigorous and transparent, focusing on both knowledge and practical skills.

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): This is the primary screening stage.
    • Pattern: 100 Objective Questions | 120 Minutes
    • Sections: Subject Knowledge (75 marks), Numerical Ability (15 marks), General Awareness (10 marks).

    • Qualifying Marks: 40% for General/EWS/OBC (35% for SC/ST/PwBD).
  2. Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT): This is a qualifying stage.
    • Candidates shortlisted in a 1:2 ratio (based on CBT scores) are called.
    • It tests job-specific technical skills, proficiency, and physical standards (especially for Fire & Safety).

Final Merit: The refinery-wise merit list is prepared solely on the basis of CBT marks among candidates who qualify the SPPT.
