IOCL Invites Applications for 2,756 Apprentice Posts

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking and the country’s leading energy company, has launched a massive apprenticeship drive for 2025. The official notification is out, inviting online applications for a substantial 2,756 apprentice positions across its refineries. This is a golden opportunity for 10th pass, ITI, Diploma, and Graduate candidates to gain invaluable training and kickstart their career in the oil and gas sector.

Eligibility, Selection Process & How to Apply

1. Educational Qualification
The eligibility varies by the apprentice category:

• Technician Apprentice: Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline.
• Trade Apprentice (Attendant Operator): B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• Trade Apprentice (Fitter/etc.): 10th Pass with a 2-year ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

2. Age Limit (as on 18th December 2025)

• General/EWS: 18 – 24 years
• OBC (NCL): 18 – 27 years
• SC/ST: 18 – 29 years
• PwBD (UR): 18 – 34 years
  Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.

3. Selection Process
The selection will be based on:

• Written Examination: An online test to shortlist candidates.
• Document Verification: Scrutiny of original certificates.
• Medical Examination: To ensure fitness for the role.
