- ITI Trades: ITI Pass in the relevant discipline.
- Non-ITI (Crane Operator): Class 10 Pass.
- Non-ITI (Rigger): Class 8 Pass.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age (Non-Hazardous Trades): 14 years
- Minimum Age (Hazardous Trades): 18 years
- Candidates must be born on or before 30 November 2011.
- No Upper Age Limit as per MSDE guidelines.
Selection Process
